How to enter your submission:
Below you will be prompted to enter your information and to submit a link to your video submission.
Please make sure you complete the submission form in its entirety. Round 1 and 2 video submissions will have a 5 minute time limit. Submissions will be judged on the following criteria:
- 50% – Technical Skills
- 40% – Open Format Song Selection & Creativity
- 10% – Overall Vibe (setting/attire/props used)
We are searching for Open Format club DJ’s, please make sure your submission follows the music format. We want to see your best work.
Sidebar will launch a nationwide DJ talent search. One DJ will win a Sidebar Residency for the rest of 2024. Anyone over the age of 21 can enter the competition. Contestants will submit video entries via IG and tag Sidebar and any other relevant hashtags/accounts. The competition will consist of 3 total rounds. 10 DJ’s will advance from the 1st round, and 3 will advance from round 2 into the finals. The finals will take place at Sidebar where each of the 3 finalists will perform 10 minute sets. We will have an all-star panel of Sidebar DJ’s to judge the competition and determine the winner.
